Sleigh Bells Ring (II)
These images make me happy - and remind me that tomorrow is December 1st! As I begin to decorate, to cook up gifts in the kitchen, to wrap, to create, I love looking to inspiring new ideas for my home. Hope they inspire a few new ideas in you, too. Trois Petits Points
I adore the work of Emilie Despeaux, the artist behind the beautiful Trois Petits Points lockets and bracelets. Emilie started the “trois petits points” brand in 2007 as a nod to the embroidery she studied at ESAA Duperre, a fashion design school in Paris. Simple Jewelry Love
Just a few new jewelry pieces with which I’m smitten from Catbird NYC , A Merry Mishap, and Homako. I love the simplicity of the Merry Mishap pieces - it seems they would match with anything and add a lovely burst of color to any neutral outfit. Please click on individual photos for a larger image and link to site for purchase. (all photos via artists shop sites)
Lotta Helleberg Textiles
Swedish born Virginia artist Lotta Helleberg lets nature serve as her guide in her work as a graphic designer and printmaker. The results, made by utilizing techniques in which fresh leaves and other plant material create the surface pattern onto linen, are lovely. See more of Lotta’s work in her Etsy shop and on her blog. Little One Holiday Gifts
So many of my dear friends have little ones (or are expecting little ones), and I love being an auntie who can delight with a little something special. These gifts, Eames classics, Decoy Lab clocks, Rifle Paper Company posters, and Bobo Choses clothing (and more) are on my list this year for all my favorite sweet ones. Please click on each image for a direct link to the shop where you may purchase...
Tamar Mogendorff
Oh, Tamar, I love your work! I fell in love with these owls, complete with silver sequins, recently, and adore all of the Tamar Mogendorff work I’ve ever seen. The peacocks! The giant deer! The stork! The polar bears! And the new sequined sea horses, the tiny bird wreaths. Tamar’s work is exquisite, each and every piece. Purchase yours - or just drool - here.
Sleigh Bells Ring...
It may be Thanksgiving - a Happy Thanksgiving to you all! - but it was looking an awful lot like Christmas as I picked up Turkey Day groceries this past weekend at lots of different stops. I love to decorate with simple and fun holiday decorations (and love white twinkle lights), and am charmed with these images I’ve been collecting for months now. Happy (Early) Holidays! Look for more cheer...
