Pale Grey, Wood, White

Pale, grey, white, wood all capture my attention, my love, and this little collection of images, of things, of late is no exception. With few exceptions, riots of color are not what I gravitate toward; even back in college, a dear friend and I used to wax rhapsodic for our love for clean bright white walls, t-shirts, kitchens. Lily of the valley is my favorite flower, so ephemeral in its life with us each spring, and this first image, shot mid-century by Josef Sudek, pulls it all together for me. I’d like to live in the calm of each of these images. Credits: 0/1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8
